I find writing these days almost painful, like I am squeezing part of my life out through my pores. It used to be quite easy, words and thoughts almost pouring out too fast, my fingers couldn't keep up.
What do you think? Does writing get harder as one gets older or do our standards just get higher??

ReplyDeleteI agree and I find as I get older, my standards (especially for sharing my writing) become much higher. The post prior to this I wrote last night and it was very draining and tiring but I felt I just had to release it regardless of the rant, ramble, negative aspect to it.
ReplyDeleteI agree! I love that photo. It's funny how sometimes you can't type fast enough to get the emotions out. Sometimes I want to write because I think it's a good way to reflect on the day, but just don't have anything I want to share or think anyone else would be interested.
